Fudge!
I just finished watched a series called Chaos Head and fudge it brought up a good theory. That since our brains functions and let us feel, see, taste blah blah etc by recieving electric signals and waves... fuck we're actually technically just electronical devices! It's entirely possibly when someone discovers what electrical signals are brain recieves, they can somehow rearrange those signals and 'show' us an image through our visual system... since what we see are actually just light waves and shit and it goes through our eyes and its then transformed into electric signals and then sent to our brain which forms the image that we see.
And then if you think about it, what if the cells on your skin are like tiny sensors, so when something touches it, it sends a signal to the brain that, that part of your body is being touched which makes you feel like so?
If so then its entirely possible that in the future we have images of food that is created by outer electrical signals sent to your brain, which also causes us to be able to feel it as if its real, and as we eat it, it touches all the 'sensors' in your mouth or your esophagus making you believe as if you ate something...
Although i doubt the 'sensor' part would work because its hard to believe that there is something touching you when there isn't. Think about the physics involved... like what about the force pushed onto you? etc. Like think about someone grabbing your arm, you feel the person touching your skin, but what if the person sqeezes your arm harder causing your blood to stop flowing to your hands? But in reality theres no one touching you but you can feel a random force pushing down on your skin? No no that won't work, random forces don't come often.
I mean we ARE just using like 10% of our brain... why so? Because our bodies can't withstand a 100% powered brain? Then why give us such a brain if we can't use it? Humans must have used it at least once before no? Why give us something that we can't use? Like we have that funny appendix and tailbone, it's things that we don't use because we can't use it. But we(humans) must have used it before right? It's either humans have indeed once used their brains 100% but think its too awesome or whatever so they decided to never use it again and slowly we forgot how to use it OR we really never used it before and are still waiting for it to come...
LOL

isnt there something called "nerve cells" in our body to sense thing so its like skin cells aren't really tiny sensors?
how scientific is this blogpost! :P
